Rob was born in a small town in the Mohawk Valley smack dab in the middle of New York State. His Mom was the town librarian and his Dad worked in a factory, as did most of the rest of his family. Rob and his brother Dave were the first in their family's history to go to college.
Rob has been a camp counselor in the Adirondack Mountains leading scouts on canoe trips and earning his Eagle Scout award as well. He moved up to the big city to attend Syracuse University to be more near his brother.
He has been blessed with a son and a daughter whom he has raised on his own since they were pretty young, and of whom he is exceptionally proud. He has devoted much time over recent years coaching a local high school team for the New York State Mock Trial Competitions. He is justifiably proud that many of those high school students have now gone on through college yet consistently stay in touch with him and visit him. His team placed first in their County and second in their New York State region. He enjoys sharing the love of his craft with others who are new to it, and is heartily gratified in watching them come to love it as well.
He rides motorcycles with his friends. He took a motorcycle trip in California by himself this last summer. He plays guitar with other of his friends. And he shoots with the best of his friends on the target range. Rob gets a lot of compliments on his photography as well. He and his friends enjoy working on Rob's 1955 Chevy 210, and on each other's cars as well. Their Monday night get-togethers are legendary. After his family, there is nothing so important to Rob as his friends.
